Molded Vegetable Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

1 envelope orange gelatin, diet or low-cal
2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup white cabbage, chopped
1/2 cup carrots, shredded
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
1/4 tsp celery seeds

Instructions:
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Chill until consistency of egg
white. Fold in vegetables and celery seeds. Pour in 1 quart mold and
rerfrigerate until firm.

2 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup mung bean sprouts
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup cucumber, finely diced
1/4 cup daikon radish
2 tbsp fresh parsley
1 tbsp tamari
1/2 tbsp soy mayonnaise
2 tsp lemon juice
3 freshly chopped umeboshi plums
1 tsp dill weed

Oat Creme Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup rolled oats
4 cup apple juice
1/4 cup tahini, optional
2 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp brandy or dark rum
1 tbsp maple syrup, optional

Instructions:
Combine oats, apple juice & tahini in a large pot. Bring to a boil,
lower heat & simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Add remaining
ingredients & puree till smooth & creamy. Thin with more apple juice
if necessary. Pour around baked apples stuffed with chestnuts, see

Ingredients:

MIX TOGETHER IN A MD BOWL

1 1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon

BEAT IN

1 cup low-fat milk
1 egg
1 tbsp oil
1/4 cup raisins

Instructions:
Lightly oil a frying pan and spoon batter on by tablespoon turning
when the top bubbles.

Oatmeal-Banana Muffins Recipe

Ingredients:

3 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tbsp sugar
1 egg

1 1/2 cup lowfat milk
1 small banana, cubed
1/4 cup sunflower seeds, toasted
