Carne Gisada Con Papas (Meat & Potatoes) 2

Ingredients:

3 lb round steak, 1/2 thick
8 oz tomato sauce
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 each large clove garlic, smashed
2 lb potatoes
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 water

Instructions:

Cut round steak into cubes and brown in shortening in heavy skillet or
Dutch oven. Peel and cube potatoes (approximately in 1/2-inch
cubes). Once meat is slight browned add potatoes and continue to
brown. (Don't worry if it sticks to the bottom of the skillet. Add

Catskill Mountain Jalapeno French Bread

Ingredients:

7 oz water
1 tbsp butter/margarine
1/2 cup jalapeno cheese, shredded
1/4 cup jalapeno peppers, chopped
2 1/4 cup bread flour (better for bread)
2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp sesame seeds, or more
2 tsp active dry yeast (red star is best)

1 2 jalapeno peppers

2 TB olive oil
2 TB red onion -- diced
1 TB garlic -- minced
1 TB Dijon mustard

Ingredients:

1/2 cup chile powder
1 tbsp cumin
34 cup oil

Instructions:

Heat chile and cumin together in a saute pan until barely smoking.
