Taco Quiche

Ingredients:

2 lb lean ground beef
1 medium purple spanish onion *
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp salt
6 large eggs
1/2 pt dairy sour cream
1 large avocado, sliced

GARNISHES

1 whole ripe olives
1 chili salsa, if desired

Taco Sauce

Ingredients:

3 cup tomato paste
5 cup water
1 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup corn syrup
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp. hot pepper, sauce

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pot. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer about 1 hour or until thick. Stir frequently
as mixture thickens to prevent sticking. Pour hot into hot jars,

Taco Seasoning

Ingredients:

1/4 cup dried minced onion flakes
4 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp salt
4 tbsp chili powder
3 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsp oregano
3 tsp dried minced garlic
3 tsp crushed hot red pepper flake
3 tsp beef bouillon

Instructions:

Place ingredients in Vita-Mix [or blender] container. Make sure lid is
firmly in place. Pulse several times and then run on high for 15-20
seconds. Makes one cup.

Taco Seasoning Mix

Ingredients:

2 tsp instant minced onion
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp crushed dried red pepper
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp instant minced garlic
1/2 tsp ground cumin

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and blend well. Spoon mixture
onto a 6-inch square of aluminum foil and fold to make airtight.
