Chilli Chutney

Ingredients:

Green chillies - 8
Tamarind - 1 marble sized ball
Hing (Asafoetida) - small piece
Salt - to taste
Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad daal - ˝ tsp

Instructions:

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.

Sauté the green chillies.

Grind this with tamarind, hing and salt adding little water.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.

Add the mustard seeds, and urad daal.

When the mustard seeds splutter and the urad daal turns light golden, add the ground paste and sauté for 5 minutes.
