Pesarattu

Ingredients:

Green gram daal - 500 g
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
Onions - 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Green chillies - 5 or 6
Salt - to taste
Cooking oil - to smear the tawa
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp (optional)

Instructions:

Soak green gram daal overnight.

Grind with salt to a coarse consistency.

Add finely chopped coriander leaves, onion, ginger, green chillies and cumin seeds.

Add enough water to make a batter - mix well.

Heat a tawa, smear with oil, spread a laddle
