Pancakes

Ingredients:

Flour - 1 cup
Salt - 1 pinch
Egg - 1
Sugar - 2 tsp
Milk - 1¼ cups
Baking powder - ½ tsp
Cooking oil - to grease fry pan
Honey, maple syrup or cream - 2 serve with the pancakes

Instructions:

Sift flour, salt, sugar and baking powder into a mixing bowl.

Add egg and milk.

Whisk until smooth.

Keep aside for 1 hour.

Gently heat a lightly greased 20cm fry pan.

Pour about 3 tbsp of the batter into the pan. Tilt the pan to spread the batter evenly.

Lift edges with a spatula.

When golden flip it over and cook the other side.

Serve hot with whipped cream, maple syrup or honey.
