Broiler Almond Bars

Title: BROILER ALMOND BARS

1 pk Pillsbury PLUS White Cake
-Mix
1/2 c Margarine; or butter,
-softened
2 Eggs

----------------------------------TOPPING----------------------------------
2/3 c Almonds; sliced
1/2 c Margarine; or butter
1/2 c Sugar
1 tb Flour
1 tb Milk

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 15x10x1-inch baking pan. In large bowl,
combine all base ingredients. By hand, stir with spoon until well blended.
Spread dough in greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or
until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven; set
oven to broil. Meanwhile, in small saucepan combine all topping
ingredients. Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly.
Immediately spread topping over baked base. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 1
to 1-1/2 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned. Let stand until set;
cut into bars.

Nutrition information per serving (1 bar): 100 calories, 5 grams fat, 9 mg
cholesterol, 120 mg sodium.
